Description

Not a serious dive. Boat Passage is a narrow (30 foot wide) pass between Mayne and Saturna. It's possible to traverse the passage against the current by

Depth Profile:
The passage is quite shallow - only 4 feet or so at low water.

Facilities:
Marine Park with launch ramp in Winter Cove. Anchorage in Winter Cove.

Hazards:
Boats - there's not much room in the passage.

Comments:
I towed an inflatable dinghy, partly as a marker and also in case the current pushed me too far out.
