Project COOL is a two underwater cleanup in lakes in the Central Okanagan of British Columbia. It is the third weekend of September usually and coincides with PADI Project A.W.A.R.E.. In 2002 it's September 21 and 22. Air, refreshments, prizes and special t-shirts are given to particiating divers and shore helpers. There's also special deals on rental equipment courtesy of Diving Dynamics. All level of divers are welcome. Each year we take out a ton or two of litter and junk from the water over the two days.
