Dear Linux Wizards,

I'm a volunteer with the Vancouver CommunityNet. <http://www.vcn.bc.ca/>
Although we don't run Linux - we currently use Solaris - we're always on
the lookout for experienced UNIX and perl-savvy volunteers to help us on
our system. And it occurred to me what better place to look than the Linux
user group? So I hope you don't mind this post to your list.

A lot of stuff we're doing requires CGI experts with perl scripting
experience. We're also upgrading the front end for our terminal dialup
users, making Lynx the replacement shell, and we still have some perl work
needed there. We're also always interested in security issues, for which
both extensive UNIX and C experience is good.

If putting in a few hours of volunteer time for the CommunityNet is of
interest to you (great way to learn CGI and perl scripting) please drop me
a line. Look forward to hearing from you!
