Install and configure Samba on the Linux box and make sure TCP/IP is
installed on the Win95 box. You can use IP addresses like 10.x.x.x,
172.16.x.x - 172.31.x.x or 192.168.x.x for private networks. Use some
addresses like 192.168.0.1 and 192.168.0.2 with netmask 255.255.255.0
for your two machines.

It's easier to setup PPP in Windows 95, but Linux will be more
versatile. You can run "diald" to automatically start and stop
the PPP connection to your ISP, and you can setup IP masquerading
in Linux to let your Windows 95 (and other) boxes transparently
access the internet through the one PPP connection. It's a little
tricky but it's very slick when it's setup. If "IP masquerading" is
too difficult, you can run SOCKS or some other proxy to let
your Windows 95 web browser connect to the internet.

> Your help much appreciatad,
there are FAQs for Samba, PPP, diald, and IP masquerading/firewalling.
