Hi,
Can you please post (or send privately) your /etc/conf.modules?
I tried to specify parameters in it for my CDROM when
I compiled everything as modlues but it doesn't seem to work.
When it was built in the kernel, I normally added:
"sbpcd=0x230,SoundBlaster" and it prevented autoprobing.
However, when I use kerneld, it seems to ignore whatever
I add to conf.modules and probes all 0x340, 0xXX etc..
until it finds it despite I seemed to follow the proper
format of the file.
