Just found the archives for this list so was hoping
some kind soul might lend a hand (or a script or two).
I am running slackware and trying to get pppd running
or connected to Direct. Anyway I have gone over every
faq and how to I can find and still not getting online.
I have traced it down to what apears to be problems
with the lcp requests being reflected back and apearing
as 7 bit's. It looks like the extra character maybe a
tilde character at start of packet. I've tried excluding
it in my chatscript but no luck yet.
Would apreciate any suggestions and help.
