I've used rogers wave for about 6 months and have been quite happy with the
service. for about the past 4 months, they have been connected to the
@HOME backbone which connects directly to mae-west and mae-east, as well as
a few other places. They currently give out static IPs, and I imagine for
people that sign up now, it will stay that way (The cost for them to send a
tech to change everyone's computer to DHCP would be too great, unless they
had very concise instructions or an automated program to do it.)

as for the 1 gig limit...the tech I talked to on the phone said there was a
limit, but that they weren't enforcing it. and the byte counters on my
linux box show that I transfer much more than a gig per month :-)

lately performance has been less-than-optimal, but I can hardly complain
about 35kb/sec (on average) transfer rates :)
