Actually, he has. Microsoft is so scared of the Linux/UNIX following
among university students that they're now giving away *free copies*
of Windows NT 4.0 workstation to students who purchase at least one MS
software development package (e.g., Visual C++, Visual Basic, etc.).

First Netscape was targeted, now Linux/FreeBSD. <sigh>
Another factoid: Microsoft has *released* Internet Explorer for
Solaris and will shortly release versions for Hewlett-Packard's HP-UX,
IBM's AIX, and Silicon Graphics' SGI IRIX. However, Linux, FreeBSD et
al. are strangely absent from the list of platforms to be supported.
