It appears that the third Monday of the month is a popular choice.
That would put our first Linux meeting on Monday, June 15 - slightly
less than two weeks away, if all are agreed.
Michael Mulder and the UBC Amateur Radio Society are just working to
get the room booking for the event sorted out. We'll let you know as
soon as the details have been settled. (Hopefully by the end of this
week.)

Sure.
In the longer term, I'm hoping that we can form a steering committee
of two or three people to take responsibility for the meeting agendas,
including presentations and whatever. This helps spread the load a
bit and allows us to avoid the gaping hole left when an organizer
steps down or is otherwise no longer available to help.
