Mysterious system crashes

I installed Accerated X on my desktop machine about 3 weeks ago, and since
then I've had about 3 strange crashes. My system is a P166 (over
clocked to 200), 96mb RAM, slackware 3.4 (patched and upgraded),
2.0.34...nothing special. It is running 24/7, and until under a month ago
I've had no crashes like this. I leave it going when I go to work, then when
I come back it's sitting at the console, waiting for me to log in. I don't
know if it maybe the 2.0.34 kernel, or maybe the AccelX X server. I'm pretty
sure that the overclocking has nothing to do with it, as it's been running
this way for ages, with no strange things happening.
Is there any log file or anyway to figure out what causes a crash like this?
/var/log/messages and syslog just go from the last message that I had when it
was up (in my case that diald went offline) and then jumps to the initial
boot up message.
Anyone got any ideas?
