To elaborate a bit: This was one of the "Local Issues" that we
discussed at the Steering Committee meeting on Wednesday night.
As Vlad suggests, we want to distribute information concerning Linux
and Local ISP's to local users via our web site. ISP's who are
already "Linux-friendly" would obviously get a special mention!
However, it was also suggested that we go a step further and (1) let
Local ISP's know that we've collected this information (both for them
and their competitors) and (2) suggest that they refer their customers
who use Linux to us if they're asked for such information.
(In many cases, I'm sure that we'll find that the Local ISP's will
actively help us keep the information current.)
