If you're switching to the one that I set up (linux@lists.portal.ca)
I don't support digests.
But much, much better, anyway, is to use procmail to sort your
mail into separate incoming mailboxes. I have close to 30 incoming
mailboxes (I receieve almost a thousand messages a day from various
lists). This means you're not dependent on digests and you can do
things like sort by subject.
For this list I have a procmail rule that looks like this:
:0:
* ^(To|Cc):.*linux@ee.ubc.ca
Mail/Inbox/misc
And then in pine I have all of my incoming message folders set up:
incoming-folders=work Mail/Inbox/work,
misc Mail/Inbox/misc,
security Mail/Inbox/security,
developers Mail/Inbox/netbsd.developers,
toolchain Mail/Inbox/netbsd.toolchain,
[etc.]
