I got me an HP SureStore 7200i CD-RW drive. It's a little slow with 2x write
speed, but cheap at CAN $538 and it's an ATAPI/IDE burner supported in Linux.
If you want a good Linux-compatible CD burner, the best ones to go for are the
ATAPI or SCSI ones, not the parallel-port ones. The parallel port burners can
be configured, but I believe it's harder.
