Most of you probably know that Microsoft has a few products for the
Linux platform, including a beta version of Microsoft NetShow 2.0.
Continuing their cooperation with XAnim Software (the developers of
NetShow for UNIX), the Microsoft Media Player for UNIX will be available
in a few weeks.
That's not the interesting thing, though. Go to Microsoft's home page
(http://www.microsoft.com). On the right panel (below the Philips Nino
system), click on the link "Windows Media Player." Then click
"Download." Hmm, interesting, it's called Microsoft Media Player for
UNIX even though I wasn't looking for it. I was looking for the
Microsoft Windows Media Player.
