This is a discussion list for the Vancouver Linux Users Group, though in reality most any traffic dealing with Linux and Linux users in the Lower Mainland is welcome. Topics not covered well by existing newsgroups (such as Linux in Amateur Radio and scientific computing using Linux) are also welcome.

All subscribers should familiarize themselves with the Mailing List Etiquette FAQ available at: <URL:http://www.cs.ubc.ca/spider/edmonds/usenet/ml-etiquette.html>

The list software is configured to only allow subscribers to post freely to the list. If you are not a subscriber, or if you are posting from an address other than the one at which you are subscribed to the list expect some delay before you see your message appear, as it will first go to the list administrator's mailbox for checking. If you expect to post from a non-subscribed address often please let the list administrator know so the server can be configured to recognize you.

The list administrator's address is: <
