Hello all, and welcome to the new home of the list. There's been a
small change from yesterday: to address the Victoria LUG's concerns of
name clashes we're apparently known as the VanLUG, and I've changed the
name of the list to
. Everyone please update your
mail aliases.
If you would like to switch over to the digest version you can do so by
sending a message looking something like the following:

> unsubscribe vanlug
> subscribe vanlug-digest
Dave, you should now be able to nuke the old list and simply point
to vanlug@gweep.bc.ca as an interim measure.
BTW, I got a call yesterday wondering if I'd give a history/intro to
Linux/Unix talk tonight for the VPCUS, and silly me said yes. If
anyone's interested in coming the meeting is at the Vancouver Museum (in
Vanier Park) at 7pm.
