Yes. We need to help starving artists like Brian Adams, poor recording
companies like Sony and going broke Microsoft, all of them in the state
because of piracy. <g>

Today in newsgroups I saw a good discription for the bill. Basically, it
is a licence for pirating. Since everybody who buys recordable media,
no matter wether he uses it for illegal duplicating of copirighted materials
or not, pays this fine without being found guilty, he now has to recover
some of that, right? Another words, it is not a protection, it is an
incentive. What can we do about that? If the increasing costs of CDRs is
a concern for you, these are some email addresses of MPs (remember, most
of them are not computer-literate!) and government officials whom you can
send your objections and thoughts on the matter.
