Bah. I'll just quote;
"Ultimately, we have to get back to the fact that there are really just
two distinct UNIX varieties; it's just that the features of any specific
UNIX implementation can be an arbitrary mixture of System V and BSD
features (regardless of its history and orgins)."
So allow me to correct my wording. Basically, even if it wasnt directly
derived from BSD 4.4 and System v3, the base of it was still (and can not
be refuted) influenced from them.
