Quote of the Meeting:
"I never fail to be amazed at how much we accomplish at these
meetings"
- A. Stone.
1. We agreed that this should be the first of many Installfests, not
the first and only, and that our efforts and planning should reflect
this.
2. [Updated on 1 Sep 98] A report on the room booking: SUB 212 has been
confirmed from 0800-1700 on Sat, Sep 26. According to Jane Kim at the
UBC Alma Mater Society, we're going to be holding our Installfest during
the AMS Orientation Weekend so there will be a LOT more traffic in SUB
than usual. Unfortunately, it also reduces the pool of available
rooms. (That's why we didn't get our first choice.)
3. The main purpose of this meeting was to assign tasks in preparation
for the Installfest. The following list of tasks was drawn up during the
course of the meeting and will be updated at the next Installfest
preparation meeting to be held on Wednesday, September 9.
4. NOTE: The people on the list are, in most cases, only the Points of
Contact for these items. If you would like to contribute or help out,
PLEASE don't hesitate to contact them! In many cases, they're going to
be actively soliciting participation from others via the List.
