I went out and bought a couple of those 50-pack HiVal cheep-o disks from
future shop. They run about $90/50 (around $1.80/disk). I only had one
coaster from when win98 decided to jam up on me. -sigh- It's unfortunate that
there isn't any commercial grade CD mastering software for Linux. I know
there's a few things that're 'getting there' (xcdroast/cdrecord is nice for
putting together iso disks, but is kinda deficient in some things...)

I'm also told that CostCo sells bulk disk packs (I'm not sure of the sizes,
but I'm told it works out to a bit less than $1 a peice). Maybe we should get
together a few people from VanLug and buy a caselot.

I wonder how much cross-border CD-R smuggling will be taking place in '99...
