Yes, I have flashed the latest BIOS.
I swapped the CPU into a TXP4 Board, and tried everything I could do to
crash my system with activities that seemed to crash it before, but to no
avail, so back to the board or the memory as being the only two
possibilities left.
In a discussion with an older sounding Technician at Western Digital, he
related that with IDE drives running in LBA mode, that the IDE HDD Block
Mode Sectors default of HDD MAX should be Disabled. Being a motherboard
neophyte and not really understanding these things, I'm now wondering if
the IDE Drive selection in LBA mode with the HDD MAX selection could cause
a conflict.
A possible further factor could be (no adverse comments please ;-)) running
a NT 4.0 RAID mirroring.
Any enlightenment would be welcomed.
