If anyone would like to join the clue developers mailing list we have
already been discussing some projects like the registry. The initial
database schema includes fields for various expertise, OSs, etc...

I was hoping to get the registry to automatically request
periodic validation from listees as well as send update requests to
other registries such as the VAR/Consultant HOWTOs.

I would be willing to work with someone from VanLUG to make certain
that both your's and CLUE's needs are met with these projects. Was
the intent for the VanLUG project to concentrate on the BC area?
I've also got a cool idea for easily doing geographic referencing
and searching that I thought would be cool.

Some of the projects that we want to get done (some Chris Halsall
thought could be done jointly) are:

the registry
the membership stuff (registering, self-admin, etc)
the installfest.org site
some web based, threaded discussions (maybe linked to mail lists)
my minds blank, it's late

Anyway, I'm rambling so I'll stop. If anyone would like to join in the
fray send a subscribe notice like so:

echo "subscribe clue-webdev" | mail

Regards,
