Exceeding the 650 megabyte barrier on CD-R media

Most CD-R media I know of will happily exceed 650 megabytes by about 10
megabytes or so. Tjos meansr I can put a 647 megabyte Slackware image
on the disc, and still have room to "fixate" the disk. Not so with the
Smart&Friendly CD-RW media. It shuts down hard at 650 megabytes, and
will not allow me to vomplete the "fixate" process without error on a
647 Slackware image...
