Is the installfest an appropriate place for getting problems fixed?
I have 2 problems with my firewall box

1)after some screw ups requiring reinstallation of rh5.1 ( : - ( don't ask....) I
am unable to get my external nic to get assigned its ip info from bctel's
dhcp server (I have adsl on my home system). The card can be brought up
just fine by ifconfig, but using ./ifup fails.....
basically it says using dhcp to get ip info, sits there a cople minutes iwth
lights on the hub flashing away, then says failed. Now I had this problem
b4, but can't remember how I solved this last time.

2)when ipmasq is setup, my ms windows boxes can surf the net, do email
and all that stuff fine, OTOH when I try to do a pasv ftp transfer (ie via a
web browser under windows) it times out, even though the proper ip
address is resolved. Command line ftp from within linux works fine, it is just
from within a web browser.........

The setup is a firewall box running ipfwadm/ipmasq on rh5.1, connected to
another rh5.1 box with ipforwarding/masq enabled and thence to the
internal network of windows (95/98/NT) boxes
Would there be a better forum to get these problems fixed?
