Some info on ICQ chatting from another list I am on for the edge router
folks to possibly implement in the next revision.

ICQ should work fine though IP MASQ for basic messaging. If you want to
enable ICQ chat, you need to:

 1) Configure ICQ as being behind a NON-SOCKS firewall and
  limit its ports to 2000-2020

 2) Install ipmasqadm on your 2.1.x kernel and enable the
  portfw command to redirect ports 2000-2020 to your
  ONE specific internal MASQed machine. Yes.. thats right..
  only ONE machine at a time. If you want more, you'll
  need to write an ICQ MASQ module.

Thats it.

 ICQ uses port 4000/udp to register the user
 and 2000-2020/tcp for ICQ chat.
