Hi Jack,

It's been years since I've used slackware.. I use RedHat.. but it's really
not all that complicated, if you've ever set up linux with ethernet at all,
it's just the same thing. The card they gave me was the DEC Tulip, so I
compiled a kernel with that in, configured the TCP/IP and all is well.

They do say they use DHCP, but as yet my IP has been static, so I haven't
config'd it in.. I'll get around to it some day.. ;)
