Hmm,
Has anyone had hdparm act odd, and not let you set anything? I've used it
on other boxes I have, but this is the first time I've had time to monkey with
it on this box... everything I try to set comes back with :
#/sbin/hdparm -p 2 -m 16 /dev/hda1
/dev/hda1:
attempting to set PIO mode to 2
HDIO_SET_PIO_MODE failed: Invalid argument
setting multcount to 16
HDIO_SET_MULTCOUNT failed: Invalid argument
multcount = 0 (off)
It doesn't matter what I try to set, or what values I try, I alway get an
invalid argument.. could it be my chipset? I'm logged it as root...
