Pretty basic stuff really - what it is, why it is, how to get it, how to
configure it, what else it can do, what is coming soon/maybe/never, etc.

Well, yes it would be except that this particular class C is supposed to be
one of the unroutable ones, so making the netmask change doesn't reflect
the spirit of this designation.

I simply note that this will/might break a previously correct installation
(as it broke mine).

We're trying to get things so that editing the one file (under Dos or
Linux) will allow all the configuration stuff to be done prior to the
diskette being made. This short circuits the body's natural tendancy once a
change has been made under the edge booted system to immediately re-boot
without first running the backup_config script so the changes are pushed
out onto the diskette - something I've found difficult to do myself :(
