My @home service was dead for about 8 hours starting in the
early evening yesterday (Friday). I'm in Richmond. I didn't
get any notification of a planned outage but when I called the
trouble number I was told that there was service scheduled
for later that evening and I should expect a new IP number
afterwards. I wouldn't have minded but it didn't happen and I'm
still 24.113.13.213 (not that I'm superstitious or anything.)
I have a question for other @homers. I'm getting lots of
"kernel: MASQ: failed TCP/UDP checksum from 24.2.10.71"
in syslog, and not just from the news server. Anyone else getting
these or have I managed to screw up my firewall/masquerading?
