When I try to IRC most server won't let me connect and I receive an
error "forward and reverse DNS doesn't match" and I can't connect to
the server. Some IRC servers don't care. I haven't had this problem
until about 2-3 days ago. I would like to know how to fix that.
Also when I do connect to an IRC server my host isn't blah.blah.com
it's my IP address. Again, it has to do with my DNS. Just wondering
what steps I should go about trying to fix the problem. I would
imagine linuxconf and networking control-panel. I have looked, and
haven't seen anything out of the ordinary. But I probably have missed
something.
Any input would be helpful
