Most ircd nets have a channel that is based on Linux. Try #linux, but
that channel is mostly huge and is easily to get lost amoung the many
people. Try #linuxsupport or #linuxhelp there is a smaller amount and
the people are still very helpful.
As for the LUG there is one that is held at the Fraser Valley univserity
and somewhere in Chilliwak. I think they retote the meetings a month.
