The non-linearity of most small UPS units also makes them unsuitable
to drive other UPS units, i.e. don't plug one UPS into another. It's OK to
plug a small UPS into a large (multi-KW) unit that puts out pure (or near pure)
sine waves, but the mostly-square waves of one small UPS will usually hinder
(or even harm) another UPS acting as a load.
