I agree with the above.

We're still in a situation where more people have heard of Linux than
have actually used it. As long as otherwise knowledgeable people
comment to me that:

it seems to me that we still need to make a serious effort to
(diplomatically) set people straight when serious FUD slinging begins.
Especially when the slinger is a sales and marketing rep for a major
software company.

Just a thought.
