Ok a quick comment on this.
I'm one of the ones who was looking at Chapters.
I live in Richmond and I VERY rarely leave it. Plus I HATE parallel
parking (mainly because I don't do it so well.) For me Multimedia is
EXTREMELY hard to get to. (Though I did order the GIMP book from them and
they will deliver to the tune of $7. However, I only want to do that in
special cases. In this case the GIMP book has sold out once already and I
want it as a gift for my Dad.)
I have no idea where the Grandville book store is but given its name I
would say Grandville street and probably somewhere close to down town.
Again I would have frazzled nerves when parking.
So.... Perhaps we should start negotiating with stores in the outskirts
of Vancouver as well. Any one know good stores in Richmond, Burnaby, New
West, Surrey etc?

p.s. While we are getting political...
I've looked at Chapter's online site and won't buy from them
there. I get a little leary around companies whose privacy policy
states that they will send your email address to whomever they
feel like with only a month's notice on the web site. (i.e. if
you miss the notice your address will be passed around.) Mind you
it has been a while since I've been to the site I really should
check to see if they have changed the policy.
