Oh I know it's not an accurate measurement per se....
I am more interested in trends.
For example if you pop over to the bctel adsl speed test, its useful for
testing speeds in relation to each other after tweaking networking settings
what-have-you. I don't care about the actual absolute value, I am interested
in the range of values over time. Ditto for bogomips...
Now I am curious why it would go down after compiling the kernel for a
pentium cpu. To me that seems rather odd.....
