If you are buying a system from a regular shop, tell them you don't want
any pre-installed crapware and ask for a discount.. depending on what
comes loaded you may get a fifty or a hundred. But it may not be that
easy with a brand name system purchase. BTW, why would an advanced user
buy a brand name system anyway? I am sure there's someone on the list
who works at a computer retailer and can give you a better quote on a
similarly configured system.
