Well, this is no answer to Dave's question, but in fact, another
question about sendmail.cf. This time about slackware: can anyone decode
the varible symbols??? Like: CL, CE, DH, DR, and so on, without having
to find the original dox? Is there a list or something that an old human
can understand?
