My Packard-Bell 880C is not connected to the phone but to Ethernet (I am using ADSL)
I would like to register, but can't use the auto-register program in Windoze 98.
My serial # is E09902258+ and machine # is 841627102. I bought the machine on 10 May 99
at London Drugs, 665 West Broadway, Vancouver, BC, V5Z-1G7, have sold the memory that
came with it and installed two 128 meg DIMM sdrams, for a total of 256 megs. I have
also installed a LinkSys Ether16LAN card which connects my PackardBell via thinwire
ethernet to a no-name 266 mHz Pentium I computer which serves as a router to ADSL.
I run Linux on both machines (having installed a 16.9 gig IBM deskstar disk in yours)
Say, while I am talking to you, I set VGA mode = 3 on your machine. I notice that
after a bit of scrolling I start to get garbage below the 1st line. How come?
