Seeking MB Advice for AMD K6/2-450 cpu

I am currently VERY FRUSTRATED with my FIC 503+ (bios 1.2a)
motherboard. I am trying to run the system at 100 MHz (i specifically
purchased PC-100 SDRAM) and when I do, the system is very
unstable. It will easily lock up when the screen saver kicks in!!

Anytime I try to open a graphic image the system always locks up.
I am using a Matrox G-100 AGP Video Card in this system.
 
Can someone please recommend a reliable MB I can use with
this cpu clocked at 100MHz.
