Great response to this , cheers people. It's interesting that lots of
you said that you use Static IP because I asked Rogers on the phone and
by e-mail and got the same response even though I was very careful that
they understood what I was talking about.
Does anyone know what 'Dynamically hosted Static IP address' means??????
I want to set up a webserver and Rogers service is clearly not aimed at
serious home users. I'm sure it's possible but the workarounds may be
time consuming, especailly with DNS. I think I will look into ADSL again
to decide.
