I'm one of the first BCTel "Multimedia Gateway" ADSL subscribers. Following
on the note here, I sent an email to Intergate saying "guess I should
switch over". Got an email back saying "yes, we already took care of it,
please call accounting to authorize the charge". Which I was happy to do
because the $89.50/month is considerably less than the combination of
Intergate and BCTel charges.
Unless the rules have changed, I can't imagine intergate getting upset
at you running servers unless of course you try to set up a monstrous
free-porn site or some such... Hmm... dawns on me I haven't done the
"multimedia gateway" ADSL login thing for months, I guess that will all
be changing in the new regime. -T.
