Currently, I have a disastrous problem with my ADSL - I cannot connect to
any other ADSL box. They are working on it apparently, but that has been for
the last two months.

I conversations with their tech guys, one told me that you keep the same IP
addy if you leave your ADSL modem on. Apparently the dynamic IP thing is
only partially true... I have had the same IP address since I got the
service back in Feruary of this year. I have turned my machine and ADSL
modem off before, have come back, and still had the same IP addy...sweet!

I'm not sure if it's worth it right at this time to pay the extra $$ for the
static IP...

Following
| on the note here, I sent an email to Intergate saying "guess I should

| please call accounting to authorize the charge". Which I was happy to do

| Unless the rules have changed, I can't imagine intergate getting upset

| be changing in the new regime. -T.
