well you are one of the lucky ones I guess, I've had days where my ip address
has been yanked out from under and changed, in the middle of being used....
There have been days where this has happened multiple times in the space of
15 to 20 minutes.
So in my case at least a static ip will be a blessing, plus then I wouldn't
have to use a dynamic dns service to host a domain from my box....
