Volunteers for the Installfest portion of Linuxfest99 (coming up on
October 2nd for those who have been in Elbonia and not heard) will be
meeting at UBC this coming Sunday to beat up some machines and install
a bunch of different Linux distributions on them for practice. This
meeting will be held in conjunction with the UBC Bookstore evaluation
comittee which will be doing roughly the same thing with two bookstore
computer systems.
If you want to help out with the Installfest, and are not already on the
list we've been planning it on, please mail me and I'll send you details
on the Sunday meeting and get you on the list.
