thanks for the suggestion about saying more - i often give full hardware
details, but it hadn't occurred to me say what i wanted to do with it,
which is a considerable oversight!
i intend to develop a small-scale near broadcast editing suite for making
non-profit documentary and fiction films about social and cultural aspects
of our contemporary environmental problems. the overall idea could be
summed up as 'greening the mind'. i want to make this film/video making as
collaborative and interactive as possible (= lots of cgi forms and
annotation programs), including generating the possibility to help people
make their own info and story films and contribute to other productions at
almost any level.
therefore, if anyone suggestions both about hardware and collaborative web
software, i would be most glad to hear. likewise, if you know of anyone
else working on public good collaborative projects that would be very
interesting.
