I don't know about everyone else, but just so you know, I didn't answer
before because I don't know much about sound cards.
I can tell you that each distrobution has it's own compatibility issues...I
think. I remember when I tried to install debian but it didn't work because
the cd wasn't recognized.
I can only assume that sound cards may be the same. The best thing to do
would be to look on the web site of whatever you're interested in.
I know none of this helps much, but I sure hope it helps a little.
