And I'll make my plug again for the Aureal vortex2, which performs better
and does sound mixing in hardware under linux(yay, no more esd preload
hacking..) without having to use /dev/dsp1, /dev/dsp2, etc.. If you do
play games under Windows, this card also performs better(ie, not doing
1/3 of is job on the processor).
Has the SBLive driver improved at all since they've released the source?
Last I heard, everyone in the project wanted to rewrite it from scratch
just due to the issues in the current one.
