no its not like a dvd or a quicktime/mpeg movie, it scales smoothly, plus the
max resolution at full screen is at most 740 x420 or something close to that,
which is standard TV resolution, when in a window, not sure how its done.....
basically the problem is that maximizing the windows results in a 640x480 tv
window rather than the standard ntsc one....

no tv card at work, but we do have a big screen tv in the lunch room, which
just happens to viewable from my computer console <wink>
