Under both Partition Magic 4.0 and Partition Magic 5.0 running PM under
Linux just means you create a set of bootable DOS rescue floppies. You
then reboot your machine using these rescue floppies and under DOS you
can then repartition safely, as the rescue system does not execute off
the hard disk. Enhancements to Partition Magic 5.0
(1) You can merge FAT partitions.
(2) You can convert from NTFS to FAT (not just FAT to NTFS)
(3) You can create/grow/shrink Linux swap partitions to arbitrary sizes.
Still a problem with SCSI unless you copy your DOS scsi drivers onto
the rescue floppies then modify the floppy AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS
