I sadly don't have a reference to give you for this, but I recall
reading that the only difference between those two standards is what
colours to give what pins. So as long as both ends of a given cable are
done according to the same standard, you should have no problem at all.
I believe the standard I follow is 568B, using wires: White/Orange,
Orange, White/Green, Blue, White/Blue, Green, White/Brown, Brown. The
other one, 568A, just uses a different colour order, preserving the same
pairs. It might go something like: Green, White/Green, Brown,
White/Orange, Orange, White/Brown, Blue, White/Blue. (That order of
wires comes directly from my imagination, but it's illustrative of the
difference between the standards.)
